Current Positions

The Thriving Initiative is always looking to create opportunities to share new forms of healing with survivors of interpersonal violence and allies in our community. If you are interested in creating access to impactful program curriculum, interacting with therapists and community providers, and leading one of our healing workshop series, this position is for you!

Tony - Graduate Program Coordinator & Co-facilitator 2022

"Being a survivor is hard. One of the hardest journeys a person can be forced to embark on. Everyone that comes into the space seeking healing and community is incredibly powerful. Survivors are strong. Creating a space for survivors to come together, and to even be excited to come into the space speaks volumes to my soul."

"It has been such an honor to support the The Thriving Initiative by working with their graduate student cohort. The participants were engaging and consistently spoke of the empowering and safe community we created together. They were all open and receptive to the providers and were able to be transparent about their experience with us: both positive and negative. Participants spoke of how this allowed them to allocate time in their busy, hectic weeks for self care and reflection- a rarity in a competitive graduate program. By the end of the cohort, participants were sad to see the zoom room close and yet were still able to hold space for each other's end of the year accomplishments. Truly a beautiful sight to be a part of.
